How It Works

In order to use our services, you must be in possession of the audio/video file that you want to have transcribed. From there, it's as simple as creating your account and uploading your file.

Court Reporting Format Order

Step 1

Create an account

Step 2

Upload the audio/video file you want to have transcribed and fill out the order form

Step 3

Choose Deposit Method

Step 4

Receive your completed transcript and pay your invoice

Step 1: Create Account
Simply create your account with us by clicking on the "Get Started" button below and entering all the required information.

Step 2: Place Order
Click the "Place Order" button at the top of the page and select the Court Reporting Format option. Upload the audio/video file you would like to have transcribed and fill out the remaining information on the order form. There is also an optional section for you to upload log notes or other supporting materials that would help our transcriptionists with your file.

Step 3: Choose Deposit Method
Legal Scriber requires a deposit of 50% of the total estimated cost to begin work on your transcript. Shortly after placing your order, an email will be

sent out displaying the amount due for the deposit as well as instructions on how to submit your payment. We utilize two deposit methods:

  • Credit Card (fastest)

  • Check

Once your deposit has been received, we will begin to work on your transcript. After your transcript has been completed and sent back to you, you will receive an invoice for the final amount due. This amount will be the difference between the actual total cost (final page count x rate) and the amount you have already paid.

*Note: When dealing with courts directly, no deposit will be required. An invoice will be provided upon completion of the transcript.

Step 4: Receive Transcript
Once your transcript has been completed, it will be emailed to you in the format that you chose when you placed your order. Shortly after, you will receive a final invoice for the amount due as well as payment instructions. Invoices may be paid by credit card or check.
